Dance the night way, catch up with friends and neighbors and take a chance at 35+ raffle items as Men of Cause prepares for another entertaining and memorable evening for their third annual Winter Blues Charity Concert to benefit CCFA as well as The Pediatric IBD Foundation (PEDSIBD).
Men of Cause, formerly known as "Mid-Life Crisis", consists of long-time Medfield residents Larry Kramer (lead vocals, guitar, harmonica) and Andy Spencer (bass, vocals), Joe Luongo of Walpole (drums) and Stefano Bellezza (lead guitar, vocals) of Roslindale/Rome. Since forming mid-2008, the band has played ten concerts including four fundraisers which cumulatively raised $21,000 for charity. The band plays classic rock to modern covers with some special guest singers and musicians, and its parodies "Sweet Home Massachusetts" and "Suburban Paradise" have been viral hits on YouTube, and were also featured on the Boston.com website.
The show starts at 8:00pm on Saturday, February 12th at the American Legion Hall on Peter Kristof Way in Medfield, and will include a dollar raffle for multiple Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics games, as well as many local restaurant and shopping gift cards. Appetizers, snacks, and desserts will be provided, along with a cash bar.
Concert tickets are $20, available from band members and at Lord's Department Store.
